Peace & Justice: Q#1 – Query

“I am the imprisoned and the imprisoner screaming for Justice, I am the enslaved and the enslaver shouting for freedom, I am the brutalized and the brutalizer sobbing for peace – with each breath I surrender to this as a path to Liberation.”

Peace and Justice call to us here at CLN, we are finding our stride in this time of tyranny, brought forth by the many faced demon that is oppression. We have invited ourselves to sit in those places where injustice and disease have found shelter, as to make friends with that which we want to change…the first face we meet on our quest told us oppression is a myth and that we must wait our turn to be rid of the barriers in our path – but that our turn is coming. This, wait, reminds me of Martin Luther King Jr.’s: Letter From A Birmingham Jail, 1963, where MLK says, “

We know through painful experience that freedom is never voluntarily given by the oppressor; it must be demanded by the oppressed…For years now I have heard the word “Wait!” It rings in the ear of every Negro with piercing familiarity. This “Wait” has almost always meant “Never.” We must come to see, with one of our distinguished jurists, that “justice too long delayed is justice denied.”

“Justice too long delayed, is justice denied.”

Today, Creative Liberation Network, we at CLN ask – what do you need to cultivate a peace that supports justice that cannot wait, and/or a justice that brings about a peace that cannot wait?
